1000 new donor samples tissue typed

In the period from July 16th to August 16th 2010, 1000 new potential donor samples of bone marrow and stem cells have been tissue typed using the DNK method for HLA (HLA - Human leukocyte antigen) A, B and DRB1!

The number of tissue typed samples of stem cells in the Croatian Registry has reached 16,873. We also have a great reason to celebrate – MORE THAN HALF OF THE COLLECTED SAMPLES HAVE BEEN TISSUE TYPED!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Government of the Republic of Croatia and all the donors who have recognized the importance of the Foundation’s work and have invested in the futures of all those people who are suffering and need our help.
