Blanka Vrgoč - 10 000th potential bone marrow donor is from Osijek!

10.000th potential bone marrow donor entered the Registry today in Osijek. A young lady, who was our 10.000th donor, is called Blanka Vrgoč... We thank to Blanka, to all the donors, to all of you who follow our work from the bottom of our hearts... We are sure that our Ana is happy together with us!

Number of HLA tissue typed blood samples increased by 700 new samples 19/07/2010

700 new donor blood samples have been tissue typed. The Registry now lists 15,875 HLA tissue typed donors which are able to be searched for genetic compatibility and tissue tolerance between the donor and the patient who is awaiting bone marrow transplantation for treatment. more »
